MNxMN is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to diversity and respect for all people.


We expect our board members, volunteers, event organizers, sponsors, exhibitors and partners to be welcoming and supportive of people from all backgrounds and identities. This includes, but is not limited to, members of any race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, color, immigration status, social and economic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, nation of origin, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability. 


The following behaviors are unacceptable at any event, in social media postings, written or verbal communications, or any other activities associated with MNxMN, its board members, volunteers, event organizers, sponsors, exhibitors or partners:

  • Harassment and/or other exclusionary behaviors.

  • Insulting or putting down event participants, individually or as a group.

  • Violent threats or language directed against another person.

  • Discriminatory jokes and language.

  • Posting sexually explicit or violent material.

  • Posting (or threatening to post) other people’s personally identifying information.

  • Personal insults, especially those using racist or sexist terms.

  • Unwelcome sexual attention.

  • Advocating for or encouraging any of the above behavior.

We encourage networking and volunteer recruitment to support our partners, sponsors, exhibitors and their missions. However, everyone associated with MNxMN is expected to be respectful of others and should not employ aggressive recruiting techniques, invasive marketing behavior, or similar actions. Clothing, uniforms, costumes, activities, images, promotions or related materials that create a sexualized environment are prohibited. Violators may be sanctioned and/or expelled from a MNxMN event or activity with no return of the sponsorship or exhibitor contribution.

Violations of this code may affect a person’s ability to participate with MNxMN in any capacity, including the annual conference, events and online.
